| We get questions about not seeing white deer along the fence anymore. In the past, some of the only mowed areas were along the fence, therefore deer would often be seen grazing/browsing along the fence looking for tender shoots of vegetation. With the extensive habitat management and improvement that has occurred, deer now have many more choices for finding food throughout the year, and are therefore much less frequently concentrated along the western fence. |
