THE AIRFIELD - RENTABLE AREA
The former Seneca Army Depot Airfield and runway is now privately owned and is maintained by the Deer Haven Park property management team. While there are no public tours of the airfield property, its southern portion is occasionally rented out for special private events.
ALL event use/rental requests must be made by application only. Each application will be reviewed and subsequently approved or denied on an individual basis.
If you are interested in applying to use the Airfield, follow our Application Procedure below.
Application Procedure
- Review the Calendar to see if your desired dates are already taken.
- Review our Fees and Discount table to determine the rental fee for the days desired.
- Open the Application Form, fill it out completely and submit. DHP will get back to you, usually within 72 hours, to let you know if your application has been approved.
- Send payment to Deer Haven Park in the form of a check, money order or cash no less than 10 business days prior to the event. If approved, DHP will send you an invoice, list of rules and regulations, and an agreement.
- Read and sign the Rules and Agreement online, or print and return with payment to Deer Haven Park.
- Read and sign the Release online, or print and return with payment to Deer Haven Park. Once we receive payment and the signed documents, Deer Haven Park will add your reserved dates to the calendar to hold your dates. (NOTE There are 2 documents requiring your signature.
- Additionally, you may be required to provide Deer Have Park with an $1M insurance certificate naming DHP as a covered party during the dates of your event.NOTE: Applying for use does NOT guarantee approval, and Approval does reserve your requested dates. Dates are ONLY locked in once full payment has been made and DHP has received a signed agreement.

Rates and Discounts
- There are two basic rates to rent the Airfield; weekday rates and weekend rates.
Weekday Rate - $1,500 per day
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (excluding holidays)
Weekend Rate - $2,500 per day
- Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. - There is also a discount for renting more than 3 days at the same time. (Dates do NOT need to be consecutive to be considered for discount. They DO need to be booked at the same time.)
If you rent 4 days, (weekend or weekday) you will get 5% off your entire booking. For each additional day booked you will receive an additional 1.75% off your entire booking. (up to 24 days for 40% off)

Please note that a day begins at 12:01am and concludes at 11:59pm. If you need to set up for your event the day before, you must rent that day.
All personal belongings and garbage must be removed by 11:59pm of your last consecutive rental day or you will be charged for an additional day.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OR EVENTS
There may be additional charges for special events. DHP will advise you in advance if your event qualifies for additional fees.
Deer Haven Park reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Full payment for all discounted dates MUST be received at least 10 days prior to the first event.

NOTE: Both the "Rules and Agreement" and the "Rental Release" are included in one electronic document. If you elect to sign and return the printable versions, you MUST sign and return BOTH documents in order to rent the airfield.
